Two of our team members, Lisa (Director of Human Resources) and Monica (Outside Plant Engineer/Project Manager), represented women in STEM careers at the Teen Girls Go to College event! Girls from all over the area attended the event, which is organized annually by the Schliemann Center for Women's Health Education and Baxter Health.
Teen Girls Go to College is designed to inspire young women, who might not otherwise do so, to consider attending college. Lisa and Monica have spent most of their careers working in male-dominated industries. They were excited to share their experiences and encouraging words about attending college and finding careers in STEM with these students.
